He can always go into the upholstery business fixing convertible top rear windows. Not everyone has the touch to do tape right.
 
Guy down the road has one of these, just doesn't look as nice. He actually uses it as a truck and runs all over the place! PJ

Travis lived on the houseboat Busted Flush at slip F-18, Bahia Mar Marina, in Fort Lauderdale. While Bahia Mar Marina does exist, there is, sadly, no F-18. I am beginning to think that John D. MacDonald made the whole thing up.

With all the discussion about bad car repairs.. I my minivan failed safety inspection.. because the clip on the end of the steering rack boot was missing. I put 2 on just to make sure they wouldn't get lost again.... at least not in the near future.
Seeing all these creative "repairs" I think I will happily put up with the nuisance of inspections if only to make sure my idiot neighbors are keeping their cars safe.
