Think I 'Slammed" Her a Bit Much...

Its 2-degrees negative camber to the rear - I did some modifying to the rear differential itself to flatten out the tires..
 
The 3 degree wedge I mean is placed between the springs and the axle. In short it points the pinion nut 3 degrees down towards the ground. With the wedge, under accelaration the axle will become level instead of moving upward, allowing power to the ground without any trace of spring curl.
On the Silver Lady I run a 5 degree neg camber on the front. After some 10,000 miles there is no obvious tyre wear and it drives as though on rails.

It almost sounds like your wedges could replace anti-tramp bars in their effect....

The easiest way to explain is fo you to go to Summit Racing catalogue Page 199 or web page and look for Competition Engineering wedge plate Part # CEE-7025. I also clamp the springs to stiffen even further. On both of my V8's I do not have traction bars. no need. I apologise to sound as though I am blowing my horn here, but there are "2 ways to skin a cat" The expensive way which normally means buying something from someone who convincs you that he sells what you must have then there is the inexpensive way that does the same job. Tony if you have seen the Silver Lady you will know what I mean.
