The 3 degree wedge I mean is placed between the springs and the axle. In short it points the pinion nut 3 degrees down towards the ground. With the wedge, under accelaration the axle will become level instead of moving upward, allowing power to the ground without any trace of spring curl.
On the Silver Lady I run a 5 degree neg camber on the front. After some 10,000 miles there is no obvious tyre wear and it drives as though on rails.
