Just to clarify for your benefit, Dale, the adjusters work in quarter-turn increments. One can easily be fooled by turning the adjuster less than that and have the brakes pretty much lock tight to the drum. (If you look at the "cam" in the adjuster, you'll see it's shaped rather like a pyramid with rounded corners.)70herald said:Dale you just need to adjust the rear brakes....
All you need to do is tighten up those square adjusters on the bottom of the back plate of the brake and the brakes will feel nice and firm again.
I couldn't agree more.
