Yep looks like mine TC except mine was originally white when I purchased it 35 years ago. I recently painted it yellow.
Ditto. (I've been a member of the NTAHC, who sold them, since the club started)'Mine too. I have never seen one yellow unless it was painted.?
I had overheating issues for years. Even had a Flex a lite fan that made it worse. Don't ask...
My winning formula (after much research):
1. Proper (sleeved) thermostat.
2. Re-cored radiator.
3. Texas Cooler fan from Moss.
4. Fan Shroud from British Car Specialists.
5. Spal electric pusher fan in front of the radiator. Good for stop-and-go traffic. Spal brackets used for mounting.
6. Radiator Overflow Tank. Used, brass from an MG.
I've been happy so far with this combination.

Hoghead,
I have done a few experiments with mechanical fans, and found that you only have depth for a 2 inch deep fan. I am currently running a 15 inch flexilite plastic fan that is 2 inches deep (model 415 I believe) and I have about 3/8 inch to the radiator tank in the front, and about 1/4 inch to the crankshaft pulley in the rear. I had a 14 inch Texas Cooler from Moss on previously, with the Kilmartin shroud and the flexalite fan with a custom shroud almost doubled the idle air flow (measured with my trusty german made car synchronizer).
BTW, were you going with a 3 row rad? I strongly suggest reconsidering to a 4 row design......my 3 row is really marginal, and I live in Oregon.....
