Alright, 10- Day weather forecasts are out....
Weather for Osage Beach.
Personally, I think 10 day forecasts are about as accurate and trustworthy as Lucas quality control..
I'll run some weather models (GFS) today, see what the computers tell us it's going to do.

OK, change of route. River is gonna crest next tuesday around Cape girardeau. So I am going up through St Louis. Its 30 miles farther but not worth the worry. It will me almost all interstate this way.

OK this is the new route. The northern route through St Louis.
The other route through Memphis is 51 miles farther and 1 hour and 44 minutes longer according to google.

Yeah, that is the straightest shot for you Tony, that is what I would do. I am leaving at 0400 and need all the breaks I can get and 51 miles is probably another hour drivng for me. I usually figure an average of 50mph when I tow the camper, so will probably be the same with the midget behind. I usually run faster than that but anytime you stop for a burger or gas it cuts your average. I think I will gain an hour going west, so it will be like leaving at 0300 that time. Should put me around 1800-1900 getting in to MO if all goes well.tony barnhill said:

My GPS shows your route after St. Louis. Anyway, I'm not sure what time I'm going through St. Louis. It could be as early as 1200 or as late as 1700. Obviously, I'm going to try and get through ASAP to avoid traffic.
