Hey, on the way back I might just do that. I think we are going to be pushed for time getting to LOTO before late. Got an extra day on the way back and leaving out the 30th. PM me some directions. Might have plenty of pics to share.

9 days.......
I still don't have me soft top.

There's not much room for luggage, spares and tools in a Midget.

Try fitting TWO people and all the stuff you need for 2 weeks worth!

Re: Caravaning to Spridget 50th?

Two folks and lots and lots of stuff fits well in a Bugeye.

Alright, 10- Day weather forecasts are out....

Weather for Osage Beach.

Personally, I think 10 day forecasts are about as accurate and trustworthy as Lucas quality control..
I'll run some weather models (GFS) today, see what the computers tell us it's going to do.

Re: Caravaning to Spridget 50th?

OK, change of route. River is gonna crest next tuesday around Cape girardeau. So I am going up through St Louis. Its 30 miles farther but not worth the worry. It will me almost all interstate this way.

Kim - I'm doing the last half of your bottom route through Memphis....getting to Memphis via US 72.

Yeah, that is the straightest shot for you Tony, that is what I would do. I am leaving at 0400 and need all the breaks I can get and 51 miles is probably another hour drivng for me. I usually figure an average of 50mph when I tow the camper, so will probably be the same with the midget behind. I usually run faster than that but anytime you stop for a burger or gas it cuts your average. I think I will gain an hour going west, so it will be like leaving at 0300 that time. Should put me around 1800-1900 getting in to MO if all goes well.

Re: Caravaning to Spridget 50th?

We're pulling out around 6am...should roll into hotel around 1800...so, we may bump into one another on the road.

Re: Caravaning to Spridget 50th?

OK, trevor. Doing the math, I will be coming through st Lou at say 2-4 pm on my way to LOTO. If you have trouble or something I could help/haul unload mine, etc. I am sure you will be coming through earlier but, just in case.

Re: Caravaning to Spridget 50th?

Kim,
My GPS shows your route after St. Louis. Anyway, I'm not sure what time I'm going through St. Louis. It could be as early as 1200 or as late as 1700. Obviously, I'm going to try and get through ASAP to avoid traffic.

Anyway, if anyone needs it, here is my mobile # 502-693-4842

Re: Caravaning to Spridget 50th?

Between losing the phone lines and wrestling with Google maybe this one will work. Leaving Friday morning. No ETA. Places to go and people to see.
