Snow

Another guy from the loony bin!

We got an inch of sleet, then 4" of snow over night, then 4" of fluffy snow next day after cleaning up. 20 minutes East of St. Louis.

I grill outside winter or summer. I’ve ALWAYS done the turkey on the grill for Thanksgiving even in the snow.
Get your big boy pants on gents.

They just mentioned on the radio, a guy here set his house on fire trying to remove ice from the roof and outside walls. How did he do this you may wonder. Seems he stuck a propane torch in the wall to try to heat the outside with predictable results. Worked once with a guy who did the same thing, but left the torch and went to work thinking all it would do is get nice and warm by the time he came home. Didn't expect to have a message waiting when he arrived at work from a neighbor that the house was fully engulfed.

Looks like the facepalm emoji has more uses than just groaners.

Had my fill of snow by 1978. Always had to be at work, regardless of the stuff. Slush, salted highways, idiots driving as if it was July...

Ten miles north of Pittsburgh, dug out the Alfa to get to work, find the Lotus:

Doc, I can only find about a third of a Lotus in that photo.

So cold here you wear gloves to hold the screwdriver.

My Friends Mother grew up in North Dakota. She said that -
"It was so cold,we'd put a hot potato in our pocket just to keep warm".

Boiled eggS works too, if you can keep from eating them on the way.
