I hate that stuff! They put sodium chloride on the roads around here.
I washed it off of my truck,& it'll need to be done again.
 
same thing here. Very cold out but the sun is getting strong enough to melt them.

It snowed a few inches two days ago,& now my truck looks like knarf.
It was presentable before that,but now that Sodium Chloride stuff they put
on the roads has caked it.Hopefully it'll rain soon,& wash it all away.

You want that stuff off asap - it accelerates rust.
 
Well, my icicles didn't last long, by midmorning Saturday they were all down and melting away. Supposed to hit the 50s here the next 2-3 day so what snow remains will be gone as well.
 
I actually went and ran an afterwork errand yesterday in shirt sleeves as it hit close to 60, supposed to be mid 60s today and then drop back to more season like as the week winds down.
