Snowing like crazy in Eastern Oklahoma! Not my favorite weather for sure! Suppose to continue all day until tomorrow morning. ❄️(n)

No snow here but very very cold.

We're supposed to get the northern edge of this system in SW OH, maybe as much as another 6 inches by Saturday morning. Already have close to a foot on the ground from Sunday night into Monday earlier this week. Most we've had in a short time in quite a while.

Haven't heard from Walter down in Fletcher close to Oklahoma City. they probably got hit pretty bad! According to the weather map it doesn't look good. :rolleyes2:

I got about two inches in my yard. Most of the schools in the county were closed today and will be closed tomorrow as well. The roads will be nasty in the morning as none of the roads were prepped in anyway before this hit.

As of now 6:47 AM, we have approx. 6 to 8 inches and still snowing lightly.

Here in Georgia we are forecast to get down to 29 with a wintery mix.
So they closed the schools "With an Abundance of caution"
The store shelves are cleared of bread, milk and ground beef.

Here in Oklahoma City, we seem to have about the same as Walter in Fletcher. I have maybe 2 to 3 inches in my yard but the main streets are clean. In fact, I went to the shop about 9:30 yesterday while it was still snowing and had no problems after getting off my neighborhood street. It was a little tricky getting back in my driveway when I got home though. It has a pretty good slope from the street. Had to get a run at it.

We wound up with just under 4" reported. I measured just over 3" at my house.

That should be manageable. It's those three-footers that always got me.

Now I shiver and convulse at the thought of 40°F and a slight breeze!! :ROFLMAO:

No, it's not bad at all. Some of these fools on the road, though... We don't have snow chains here, no one buys winter tires here, and only a few folks know how to drive on slick roads because we only get snow like this every four years or so.

Looks great! Glad you don't have three feet of frozen concrete "heart attack snow" we often get here.

I heard from a friend in Fort Worth. They got about two inches light fluffy snow, closed the schools, and people raced to buy bottled water, bread, eggs, and snow shovels. Also sent the city's snow plow out!

ONE plow? Do city employees take turns driving it?

We got a few inches of snow last Monday,& again last night.
Last Monday only about 10 of us showed up for work.I still don't get
that,as it was really nothing to driving in it.
Today I went across town,& while there wasn't much traffic,
a lot of people still drive like idiots, always going about 10 mph over
the speed limit.
I STILL want to drive my truck in 4WD!

Had my fill of snow by 1978. Always had to be at work, regardless of the stuff. Slush, salted highways, idiots driving as if it was July...

Ten miles north of Pittsburgh, dug out the Alfa to get to work, find the Lotus:

I was thinking of having a cook out, but couldn't find anybody willing to come!?

They think I'm ready for the loony bin!
