Your progress looks good!

I'm patient with this one, it'll take the time it takes. I will be happier once the bodywork is done and the car is back in my shop, whenever that is.

That looks like some real nice body work! Great to see it looking so good! I've been following the progress, just haven't said anything. Nice Drew, real nice. :encouragement: PJ

Moving along

The metal work on the main body is done now, and the body is freshly primed. They still have to weld in the reinforcements to the bonnet wheel wells, and then the main bodywork should be done. Moving right along.

Looking good Drew. You're way ahead of me...at least on the bodywork.

Drew,
I know you're glad to see some progress...primer always turns me on!

It's been a slow process for sure, and it's nice to see some progress.

I see its sitting on buckets....how are they moving it around? Lot's of man power?

Kurt.

You can already tell that the end result is going to be stunning.

Don't know, though the bare body tub isn't all that heavy. Couple furniture dollies would be more than adequate.

I sure hope so. Been a long process, right now I'll just be happy to have this phase done and the car back at my house.

Getting a bit closer. Thanks to input from this group I had them weld in some reenforcement to the wheel wells in the bonnet. That's done now, and they just need to finish cleaning up from the welding and I think the metalwork will all be done. I'll try and get down to the shop this week for a look over.

I had my body guy do this too. We also welded a bar across the part of the bonnet closest to the firewall to keep the bonnet from flexing there. Hopefully, this will keep the cracks to a minimum. He is starting with filler now, so I might be catching up!

looking great!

Penny has paint!

Penny's got paint! At least the main body tub does. Shop sent me these shots over the weekend and I was able to get down on Monday to see it in person. Color looks great. As of Monday they still had to do the bonnet and doors and do the rub down/final work. Still, it's an exciting bit of progress.

WOW, Does that look nice! It's going to be a beauty when done Drew. Hardly wait to see the completed car. Something to be proud of! :encouragement: PJ

Drew,
Wow, that looks great! I'm about a month and a half behind you and can wait to get to this point!
Rut

Looks great. I'm totally jealous...
