Dale, As of 8:57AM, your adapter is in transit from Toa Bajas, PR. You should have it this afternoon.
<span style="color: #990000">Paul, Toa Baja at 8:57 AM you say??
Must be arriving by a Postal worker with a foot route.
Toa Baja is like 7 miles from here.
4:47 PM local time and no arrival YET.
I sure hope you matched the correct shade of red
powder coating!
I've got the car on all four jack stands. Disconnected the
tranny from the drive shaft and removed the tranny mounting
bolts. Removed the engine mounts and disconnected the radiator
hoses. I have the engine front jacked up about 2.5".
Stripped out the dizzy, dizzy cap and all plug wires,
removed the coil and wires, removed fuel pump and hoses,
removed the brake vacuum hose and most of the wire harness
on that side of the car.
I could not get the original metal filter housing out, so I'm
gonna take the car to a muffler shop and have the housing tack
welded to the frame so it doesn't rattle around.
I've even got me a dental pick to removes the old gasket.
I think I am prepared. I just pray the adapter is the correct
shade of red............ so I don't have to return it.
