MGB-GT Next Project 1967 GT

Thanks. That's about what I was figuring. Not cheap, but well worth it I think. Will be a while for me but maybe in a few years.

You're getting really close. Got to be exciting.

More like nerve racking. Just bought a house so I've got a ton of projects going on. The garage was this weird hybrid garage/carport thing. Had 2 3/4 walls and a garage door so that's now getting fully enclosed and next week the floor gets epoxied. Plus roofers, painters and the heating system is getting redone along with asbestos remediation. Luckily I've got a bit of time before everything has to be moved.

Once the 67 comes back from the shop I need to get it running well enough to drive it to the interior shop and then the 110 mile trip to the new place where the final work will happen. On the plus side the new place is 15 minutes from moss.

If you were not working on cars that would be an architecturally interesting and fun garage. 15 min... who needs shipping, you have the parts counter.

Life does seem to come in waves, doesn't it. Good luck with the new place and all the joys of moving...

Looks like a decent sized garage space once it's all finished out, and close to the parts counter at Moss is definitely a plus!

Well the car is still moving slowly but the garage is moving right along.

Nice, looks like a real garage now.

Good looking workspace, Stew.

What a pretty sight. Whats your end goal with this car? Will it be your new daily, a long trip car, or just something for a night on the town for locals to drool over?

It's going to be used as a long distance touring car. No garage queens for me.

My poor GT is getting jealous.

I smile when I see them go by on a trailer. Get the joy out of the car, drive it!:encouragement:

Cars not moving quite as fast as I would like however the new garage has received it's first new resident.

Looks awful lonely in there......

I was just thinking "look at all that space!" Garages look so big when they're empty... add in all the detritus of life and they get full and cramped quickly.

Gorgeous!

gorgeous indeed! a real classic look
