I'm still hoping the warm weather will appear at all! (it snowed at my house today)... 🥶

At this point I don't think we're waiting on any other parts, so I expect it should move along nicely now. Much of the waiting was because the machine shop was backed up, with that work done I'm hoping for some continued, rapid progress.

My money cupboard is looking a little bare as I just paid a whopper of a bill covering the last month's work. Cost was what I expected, but still took a deep breath. 💰💰💰

This does mean that we're getting close to the end of the project. No ETA yet, but down to the last few items on the punch list.

Got a call from the shop today, some confirmation on the list of final tasks -- I wanted confirmation on a few of the things we had agreed to have done. The real update is that they are hoping to fire up the engine today! Woohoo!

I think the only parts we're waiting on are some new tires, so should be getting very close. I dropped the car off last year in early June, and so far it is looking like we'll be wrapped up at about the same time this year.

Exciting times!

We're on the home stretch now, shop is hoping to have the car wrapped up this week. Engine work is done, just a few small things left. I'm getting excited -- I bought this car for the second time in 2016 (first time in 2011, sold in 2013) and in those six years I've really only driven it a handful of miles. I'm really excited to have it back in the fleet.

I can see you grinning from here!

I'm excited, but it doesn't feel real yet. I did move a few things around in the shop earlier this week so I have a spot ready for the B. So getting ready, but won't sink in until the car is back on the trailer and we're pointed north.

Excited for ya, Drew! 👍

And she's done! Freshly detailed and ready for me to pick up. Plan is to head down next week and bring her home. I'm really excited to see the work, and so excited to drive the car again. It's been years since I really could drive the car, and I'm ready -- I've really missed having a convertible to drive. More to follow once I have the car in hand.

Magnificent, Drew! Congrats!

looks amazing!

I'm really excited. And I have to send out a huge thank you to my father in law for both owning a really nice F150 and for being willing to loan it to me for the rescue mission. :thumbsup2:

When do you go? How soon before we "see" the car?
