TR2/3/3A Leaking O.D. section of Transmission

You must be trying to remove the pin in the lever on the passenger side of the gearbox. I did not remove that side lever only the plate on the drivers side.
The pin is probable a taper pin so you have to drive it out from the small end. They make Pin punches for that purpose.
Be careful to not bend the shaft.

Sorry I didn't complete the original posting, I meant to delete it and couldn't.
A nail set or hardened punch may be a better weapon to remove the pin. I don't think it is tapered, so it should be possible to remove it from either side after removing any peening.

I will visit Lowes and see if i can find a harden punch.
