Being as you live in a cold climate, I too recommend the Hitachi/Isuzu design starter. Used em on my 6's for over 15 years no problem...

Speaking of cold climate - I understand some parts of the US have experienced really cold weather lately. When I tried to translate Fahrenheits to Celsius, I thought I miscalculated. But perhaps they had already been applying the wind shield factor in the numbers.

I do recognize the old starters freezing litterally when the two digits below zero kicks in. In the old days, the mineral oil also added to the misery.
