Well the Crypt Car has been in the shop for
two days of diagnostics. Even made it home
without breaking down. Whew!!
One oil leak we could not determine the origin.
Your kind help in pointing me toward gaskets
or oil seals I should purchase along with the clutch,
trans mounts, U-joints, steering rebuild kit,
entire car mounts, motor mounts, carpet, gas pedal
linkage, emergency brake system, etc.
Oil drips from the clutch slave cylinder but
it is engine oil coming from above. It looks to
originate in the general vicinity of trans/engine junction.
Since we are going to pull the trans- what gasket or seals might be causing this leak? It would be an easy task to replace with the trans out.
