Be careful there KC!

I have friends in Coloma, Wisconsin.
I might just give up on the Crypt Car
and start building me a Spit from parts
obtained from WI. !!

We have friends there also. Small world and a small town.

Great Choice! Maureen and I took RC to the Mediterranean for our 15th anniversary and had an upper deck suite. We very pleased with the service and the cruise line itself. Food and staff were excellent.

Enjoy and recharge those TR6 repair batteries.

And especially enjoy your lovely wife and the time that you have together.

Dale, I'm about 12 miles from Coloma. Just happens that I have a Spit that I would part with. Maybe a trade. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Now that you have the major work done on the crypt car.

Hey Paul,

Yes Royal Caribbean is the best. We hear nightmares
concerning the lesser quality cruise lines when we
talk with tourists in the Old City.

Wendy is a bit scared today. A large wind system is stalled over us. 30 to 50 mph winds with beach wave 15 to 18 feet high. I must take drive and see this!

later gator,

Adams, Marquette, or Waushara county? The son of an old friend that has passed on lives about 12mi north of Coloma. He has a shop there and is an excellent machinist/mechanic/welder and loves working on old machinery. LBC's might fit into that category.

East of Coloma on Hy 21. Waushara county. 12 north of coloma would put him about in Plainfield. Was raised near Plainfield. It's a pretty good chance I might know him.

My friend was Jim Rowsam. His son is Jon and is on the family farm.
Jim and I were in the reserves together and were on a military rifle team, among other things were on the winning team for the Texas State Championship one year. We coached junior rifle team and Jon was on the team. Jim and I were also connected through the local Tech College where he was a teacher and I was a student and teacher.

I knew the Rowsams. I believe that there were three girls too. They lived in Plainfield. I don't know Jon or where the farm is. From what I remember the family lived in town. My wife went to Highschool with the second youngest sister of Jims.

Sounds like the ones in town were cousins or siblings to Jim.
Jim would have been around 70 now. The farm is just south of town. Jim was a metal working and mechanical genius. Also a collector of old machines of all kinds. Jon spent many years working with and learning Jim. Now carrying on the legacy. Great people!

Jim is probably just a bit more than 7o. Thats what I am and he was a couple of yrs ahead of me in school. His dad was a great machine man.
