Help troubleshooting wiper motor

Nope, turning the dome won't help with the "30 degree" problem. The sweep is fixed by the position of the crank pin on the big gear and the wheel diameter in the wheelboxes. Turning the dome can only change where the motor stops within the sweep when the switch is turned off.

Might be wrong parts, but my guess would be something loose, like maybe one of the tubes isn't attached to the wheelbox; or perhaps the big gear is damaged. And IMO you should definitely address that problem first, before playing with the dome.

Right again Randall. The tube came lose from the gears. I tightened it up and got full movement from the wipers.

Park location is my issue now. I've loosened the gearbox and rotated the cap in all directions. The park adjusts but all within a few degrees towards the passenger size. Should you be able to rotate the cap 360'? I feel like I can only rotate about 120' or so.

Thanks! Almost there!!!

Here's two pictures (using a nifty mirror) of the full range of motion I have with the cap. I wonder if I don't have enough slack in my wire. Could that be it?

That was it. I loosened the screws of the gearbox and motor and pulled the wire a bit which allowed me to rotate the cap fully. Wipers are working and parked correctly!!

Thanks for all the help everyone!

Good, glad you got it fixed.
