wow, 8 pages.

You never know, she may take to the corvair....

Okay, maybe not, but it still sounds like a good plan. after all, there are just so many things you cna do to keep someone happy.

Tony

Oh, and Chuck, thanks for them stars man!

There's a thread in the "other cars section" about a guy who's redesigning the boots of cars, or something of the like, everyone should tell him what's in you're trunk, I did

Tony

you should read it all. If you begin to understand it you may be warped enough to join in. As far as I can remember, we've planned to build a garage and go shopping for a Corvair of all things

Hey, I've installed the wooden hatch floor off an MGB GT in my V8 MGB roadster's trunk...it hinges just like on a GT...underneath in a carpeted space is where I'm putting all my stereo stuff (amps, CD changer, etc)...using a Saab mini-wheel as spare 'cause it lays flat on top of the GT hatch floor & allows the trunk to close...

Gee, I wish my wife would want an old Corvair convertable instead of a new Surburban or smaller SUV...guess she is just one of those high maintenece women ;-))

Bruce

I think there was even a question at one point, but that's irrelevant, ormaybe this whole thread is irrelevant.... whatever.

Tony (not the autoist, but rather the blacksmith-ist-er-izer)

you don't know Tony. He'll have a fortune in the old Corvair and Jerri will drive it to the Grocery on the weekend. She haz a Benz for her daily driver. The real reason he's doing this is because he REALLY doesn't want her scratching the paint on the 70 BGT show car he is building for her

So, chuck, are you sayin that the corvair will be a study on the effects of time and weather on bondo? or that it'll be done right, and then forgotten about in favor of the bgt?

(Tony)

Tony B, that sounds like a very neat set up. in my spitfire, I had the amp sitting loosley behind the drivers seat, and had a bandpass box wedged tightly between the seats and the rear bulkhead... wires run haphazardly, and the two front speakers, um taped in place... but I had a total of $3 in the stereo, since verything but one rca cable was given to me.

Tony (I'm running out of things to say in parenthesis)

Tony will do it right, he has a body shop and an interior guy on retainer. and higher in this thread are pics of the garagemahal, which he is currently building an addition onto. If you haven't seen Tony's site you gotta have a look see. The Autoist While there, join the List, you don't have to have an MG, we are equal oppourtunity

&, grab me the complete rear end & that funny shaped piece of metal above the radiator that seals the radiator support to the bonnet...&, if its wire wheels, all 5 wires...lemme know cost & I'll arrange shipping via Roadway Trucking

Yeah me too!

But all I want is one of those little plastic thingys that screws into the back side interior panel to hold the seatbelt buckle when not in use! I will pay up to $5 for one, but will spring for first class postage! LOL

Bruce (the big spender)

Oaky, I'll be on my way over there on friday I guess. anything else you guys need? Oh, and Tony, I'm not sure if you're interested, but I may have a line on an MG-A coupe, I believe twin cam, but not sure if it's still available.

Tony (I shoulda stayed away from the MG board, now my poor car will feel neglected.)

If you can find a twincam A coupe, at any kind of a reasonable price, buy it. they are super rare
