I got a garage Gary, not very big but enough for the B, if I could get Laura's stuff out. Heated too! I'm gonna build a large yard barn for Laura and solve all my problems this summer. To edit your posts, sir, click on one of the icons above your post, I think it is the piece of paper, and go from there
 
I guess congrat's are in order...you've made it to three...please fill-out in triplicate...the necessary forms requesting the honorarium of longest thread in BCR history...also please supply all necessary data...and other materials that would help validate your deed to those concerned...

I'm impressed I almost entirely useless chatter! I love it. So many of the boards I freequent are all data heavy, and thus rather boring. But you guys do a good job of keeping it fun!

That is our job Tony!! Now if you wanna hear useless chatter, come to Kim's Garage Raising!! She will have Kokanee beer (check out beer.com) and she will have me and Chuck there!! We have a few other friends over on the other BBS, and they seem kinda shy!! If they ome, and Henri comes (even though he has a stinkin' Healey) we will have fun!! Tony (the Autoist) is going to cut the roof

Hey...during the garage raising...make sure that Gary doesn't get to play with any sharp objects...saws, nails or anything else that could possibly hurt him or...someone else...
 
Guess I'd better get to saving my pennies for this garage. Not only do I have to find the money to get it designed and supplied, now I gotta buy beer for all the builders. Sounds like any money I'll save on labor is going right into beer!
 
Should I, dare I...we'tre talking garages here, so........

Heated & air conditioned with 3-ton unit....2400 square feet on ground floor (including the addition underway right now) with over 1000 square feet on second floor...built entirely by my own 2 hands with help from my high school students! Quik-Lift installed in one bay...holds 14 MG's!

...&, no, this isn't my house - its the garage attached to the house!

oh, & since its too small for all the cars, here's a photo of a smaller garage (16x32) we built just for overflow storage of the unrestored/original cars in my collection (its since finished except for cedar siding to match big garage & house)....holds a Magnette, MG1100, MGA, & 2 Midgets!

&, yes, Gary....I put the strand board on it in that direction on purpose! I know it should be the other way normally but I had my reasons on this project....
 
don't look bad to me Tony, but I've seen it all in person, except the shed. and since Tony is gonna do all the cutting, I don't think Gary will get hurt.I'm more worried about the Bear Kim promised
 
There ya go....give me an air nailer, a couple of Old Speckled Hens, & Gary in my sights/range...oh, yeah!

I'll check out the quality of his work for Kim when I'm in Victoria this summer...&, about Sep of 2004 I'll be returning from Nova Scotia & can stop by Kim's....

That reminds me of something I was reading in the paper a couple of years ago!! A couple of guys were bulding a house and they were always fighting, so one guy started shooting at the other guy with his nail gun, the poice came and the guy was charged ith assult with a deadly weapon!!

Gary....I was working on the 'Garage-Mahal' addition the other day, putting a 2nd top plate on a wall...was holding around the 2 plates with right hand while I shot nails with left hand...put one right through my finger...IT HURT!!!
