Currently with the wind chill it is 2*F here. Can you say COLD :eeek:

NNO

Today it is a balmy 11 below 0 on the F scale.
Yesterday it was a bit colder with the temperature - 40C or
40 below 0 on the F scale.Fortunately there was no wind to speak of.
Thats Winnipeg Manitoba. The heart of the continent

I was gonna complain about it being 15 degrees F here this morning, but after Chuck's post, above, regarding the "balmy" temps in Canada, I suddenly feel much warmer.

Stay warm up there, Chuck! :yesnod:

13 here today....gave Jerri a couple of choices for restaurants for lunch earlier today....<span style="font-style: italic">"There's a McDonald's,"</span> she said. <span style="font-style: italic">"Don't have to get out of the car."</span> And she doesn't even like Mickey D's!

Just about nudged 47 here today. Went out for an hour's walk earlier, actually wasn't bad. Not a lot of people at the airport golf course though.

Ran the 'furnace' for the first time this winter, a 15 minute test run after visual inspect/clean. Brought the hovel interior up to 70*. Hope to only need it for a couple days. Really inefficient heating *air*. Wish we'd put floor heating in before we did the tile. BAH.

First time, eh.....well, we're heading south in a few days...gotta get out of this cold!

I picked a wonderful time to have a waterline coupling split and break and lose water to the house. It didn't freeze it just broke. I created another thread with some pictures here. I had one break in a different place last summer and it was not that bid a deal but I couldn't even put the dirt back in the hole. Bundle up everyone and open the heater valves on the spridgets

What's up with the temps down here in Tampa Doc?!?! I thought was gonna get to warm up a bit by coming down off my secrit mountain base in L. . and visirin' family in Tampa. Instead, I'm greated with more of the same... actually worse cause it's more humid so anything resembling a breeze has me recallin' Mt Fuji w/ snow on the ground in early spring...

brrrrr... me shorts are a freezin'!

Freezin' I tells ya!

nevr mind the typos...

typing with a stylus has minor accuracy issues...

They're talking about record lows around Jacksonville tonight, 17 in some places.

'Posed to be 21 here tonite. I just picked the last of 'em der'maters cause I can't keep 'em plants alive in this. They'un still green, but ol' Terce like 'em fried green der'maters fer brekf'st. Most o' 'em are rip'n' on the sill. Still got 'em hang'n' 'maters in the van w/ 7 candles a'burn'. Hop'n' they make it.

DISCLAIMER: I know I once stated I write like I speak, when you see stuff like this; I'm not !!!
