NO WAY!!!! clothspins were standard back in the 60's. I've traded a couple emails with the seller, his father said it was a '61 so that's what it is listed as. I believe this is the 35th one made (first 10 were prototypes) so it has to be a '59 or very early '60. The "A" spec cars had body flex issues, and there are obviously other problems to be dealt with from the pictures. I would say it is an 8-thou car at the very best, perhaps 7 is more realistic, but I see it is over that already. I have no clue as to what his reserve is, wouldn't insult him by asking.
