Couldn't help but notice the car.

I never had that problem. I've always been a nerd and always known I was a nerd. :geek:
My problem was I was a nerd before that was a word.
I was desperate to be cool but never knew how.
Everything I tried was just pitiful.

Can I get an AMEN ? ...J.D.

I must admit thought that one of the coolest guys in my high school did end up as a shoe salesman a la Al Bundy. That always reassured me.

The absolute most intelligent guy in my class ended up in prison. He made a “black box” so he could make free calls anywhere in the country. This was obviously pre-cell phone.

The one guy in my high school class who could have been rich and famous blew it. He was one of the top 10 high school golfers when we graduated in the mid 70s, had a full scholarship for all but pocket money in West Virginia and had he worked at it, could have had a shot at being a well known pro and later maybe one of those guys announcing tournaments. But, he got involved with some locals stealing cars and quit going to classes within a month of starting school. In the end, was charged with thief, kidnapping, murder, conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder and several others, some crossing state lines so federal crimes. So didn't even make it 6 months out of high school and been locked up for 49 years now this last fall. Won't be eligible for parole for nearly 30 more years so the only way out will be a pine box Talk about screwing up a life.

By the way, for those who don't know, this meme is 'My Buddy Jesus.'
Ahh, Dogma. I haven't seen that movie in years. It does have my second favorite Salma Hayek as a stripper who is more than a stripper scene.

He was just following in the footsteps of his parents. His dad was a loafer and his mother a sneaker.
