Bad Habits

I tried to quit many years ago but always went back, UNTIL, I was driving to a meeting and had on a new $70.00 pair of slacks. I dropped an ash on them and burned a hole in the leg. So disgusted, I threw the pack out the window, went home and changed, threw the 70 dollar pants in the trash and never smoked another one. That was 20 years ago.
70 bucks for a cigarette was a little much.

Doc, if you've slipped forget it, don't beat yourself up. Simply begin anew and pick up right where you started. We're all pulling for you and we know you can do it. After all you drive a LBC and that makes you special... :grouphug:

Makes me an idiot, morelike.

Yeah, half a pack yesterday, awoke this AM and paced for an hour with a cuppa... came out to th' garage and R&R'd the carb on a buddy's pressure washer to get it runnin'. Finished that by 0930 and half a pot. Stared at the remainder of that pack and lit one up.

I've th' self discipline of a ferret. :wall:

There's your problem-you're leaving half packs of smokes lying around. I'm being serious here-every time I've fallen off the wagon, if I have a pack around, I'll smoke 'em. Toss them, even if, like me, you can't stand wasting the money.

Day five of no caffine. Man I never would have guessed the side affects of that stuff.

Since day two I've had a headache over my eyes everyday from the time I normally had a cup of coffee until mid afternoon when I didn't ever have any.

Today was the worst, but it didn't last as long. I may never go back to that stuff. What if I were sick and had to quit drinking it? Headaches on top of being sick....no thanks!!
