TR2/3/3A Applying the Permatex copper gasket spray to the head gasket?

I think I let it cure before installing; maybe 30 minutes. To make sure (1) it does not drip into places it's not supposed to be, and (2) I assumed it needs some thickness to seal, and I applied a few (light) coats. It should "ooze", not run.

The Permatex web page says you can pre-coat, so you can't go wrong with letting it dry. At the same time, the instructions do not include a requirement to let it dry... bottom line it probably doesn't matter.
