Another Van!!

et that little sucker will have a hefty reserve!

Now that's cool... no space or time here, but I'd love to show up to a gig in that, unload the upright bass and get to it. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

And I already know how I'd paint it, sigh /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/driving.gif

Okay, you guys with little kids - who are Wallace & Gromit? The man & dog in the van, I'm assuming

No little kids here, they're 16 & 20. Wallace & Gromit are British Clamation Characters. Gromit is the dog who constantly rescues inventor Wallace. They have three shorts, A Grand Day Out, The Wrong Trousers & A Close Shave. The company also made the movie Chicken Run & More recently Curse of the Were-Rabbit (where that picture comes from) which had Wallace & Gromit as lead characters. https://www.wallaceandgromit.com and https://www.wandg.com seem to be the official websites.

here is the trailer from the movie - enjoy

Cute!

No kids here, but I loved Curse of the Were-rabbit. I think my favorite scene was the "dog fight" where they run out of quarters. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

You wouldn't have a cup holder in it, it would have to be a cheese holder for the Wensleydale - "Cracking bit of cheese that, Gromit."

you guys are killing me...anyone interested in a recently acquired Morris Van....this guy is even cuter than Herbie....sorry Herbie!!!

You're just so far away!

hey Tony...it's only 909 miles, 14 hours and 21 minutes...from Gurley...you could swing by Tennesse and trailer the Austi 35 up and Herbie back and if u say Herbie is for advertising....write'r all off as business!!! -chuckle-

OK ...had to do it...Wallace & Gromit are now part of the BCF family....but MA says HERBIE has gotta go....somebody make me an offer!!!!

Tony...it's the posting MOMENT OF INSANITY. But I'd be glad to take some detailed pics of it and tell you what I know for the little time we've been foster parents..I also have a new Morris Minor Workshop manual and a pair of glove box covers coming over from UK...I just didn't care for the open look dash boxes and was going to close them in and wood mount the gauges like the salons, he's well behaved, starts right up, no smoke and drives good...nothing highway yet..just county roads...but needs the full lube and maintenance to loosen things back up....I also was considering a pair of helper springs or new shocks..seems to ride OK on paved roads but bottoms out a little on my gravel road....but does need cosmetics inside and out, I put a thin coating of wax on her Thursday to see what the paint might buff out like..it's pretty decent but some extra elbow grease would make it glow...although as you know some prefer that more original dull gloss look on the older LBC's...let me know if your serious and I will email some pics...
