Yea and they gave Lee Iaccoca credit for the minivan...the BRITS had em long before his idea...don't know if most noticed but as you can see in ThomP's it has a fold down back seat!

There is an Austin A35 Van in Greeley, CO. Pretty decent shape. The owner uses it to advertise his business. Insurance I think... Otherwise it doesn't get much use.

Parts are scarce. Many parts are compatible with the Morris Minor, Nash Metropolitan and Frog Eye sprite. Those that aren't are catch as catch can.

If you have mechanical brakes in the rear, then the master cylinder and the front wheel cylinders are unique to our cars and can be very expensive to replace. The rebuild kits seem to be common. In my case the original 803cc water pump and oil filter are unique and almost impossible to find.

Bull Motif is the most popular source. AutoFurbish (www.autofurbish.com) is another source. The autofurbish link isn't working right now. I often Google for parts by part number when I need something and have had success with the Sprite and Mogy community. Kip motors (www.kipmotor.com) here in the US often has parts. And here's a link to an UK Based web site that has helped locate parts: <https://www.flying-a.net/> There is also an international club: "Austin A30 A35 Owners Club" That has a spares chairman to maintain and distribute spare to club members.

This car is the source of this saying:

ThomP..thanks exactly what I had come to the conclusion..good news is pulled the wheels yesterday and the hydraulics are actually in pretty decent shape...looks like I should just needs cylinder rebuilds on the fronts saw Bull Motif at 4.50 pounds per kit X4 on front...GREAT news considering the cylinders were 115 pounds per..so since we didn't make the KC all Brit show today I bled the brakes and took the other half for a ride....she's now finally been won over to the LBC's after all these years and with the W&G theme very excited about next seasons events....

Yes, £115 per AND most likely, NOT in stock. I bleed mine annually in hopes of keeping the moisture out of the system.

Cheers
