Said I was not authorized to look at that page.

it is from the morespeedperoformance, it is the guy who owns that. he took off the dashboard and fendes to get it redone. and i was wondering what i have been doing wrong to try to get the fenders atleast off

Fenders are pretty straight forward - bolts down the hood line & inside the grille area, couple up underneath at bottom edge, about 5 or 6 behind the kick panel inside the car....but, you have to release the front air dam before the fender comes off....& getting to a couple of them up behind the dash is tricky.....

See if you can get with somebody in the Chattanooga area who has one apart - or drive over to Gurley, AL & ook at a couple in my MG Graveyard....once you see them, it'll be pretty clear.

45 minutes to an hour from Chattanooga - do a Mapquest for Scottsboro, AL or Huntsville, AL - halfway between them...

i mapquested it and said 2:30hr. i would come up their if their is any parts i need {wink}{wink}. u got any that i need, my birthday is soon.

Do I have parts? hehehehehe - some of you guys can answer grasshopper's question.

Don't worry about removing the splash guards - they're not attached to the fender.

Yep, you reach all the interior bolts from either inside under the kick panel or the corner of the dash.

Ok i got you but, i do rember 2 bolts behind the splash guard which i know i have taken out. because they were a pain to get out.

Nope, no bolts behind the splash guard! Not for the fender....only thing in there are the 2 center bolts that hold the door hinges to the body.

The door hinges stay mounted to the a-pillars which are part of the unibody.
