I agree the flat grill goes better with the rest of the nose...but alot of people put the MKII grills in earlier cars for some reason...someone put one in my 61 then drilled giant holes in it for fog lights, waste of a perfect original MKII grill if you ask me...when I restore the car I'll put it back to original, for now it will continue to restrict my air flow.
