Ticking the boxes off .
Carpets from Coverdale in the UK . Custom made , I supplied paper templates so I could have one piece floor carpets , no holes for jump seats plus the extra section of carpet for the sloping rear panel .
Rally style seat belt anchors are in , seat rails next .

You need a rally shift knob with the OD switch on the knob. Then put the headlight dip switch in place of the OD switch on the dash.

I thought about that and if it was a centre shift gearbox I would have done it but as it’s side shift and the gear lever is at the funky angle I think it would make using the switch on the knob awkward .

Yup, I love mine. But, I prefer the dip switch on the floor; I'll go to my grave disliking the ones on the turn signal stalk.

Yes but yours is a top loader not side shift. Also I didnt want the exposed wire down the side of the gear lever shaft .

Too long of a wire run, but otherwise doable. Don't some with side shifters shorten the shaft (IIRC, the 100s had a couple versions of shaft).

I guess I could and it’s something to consider , easy to just cut the shaft then Re thread it .
I have never driven a side shift so once she’s on the road it maybe something I will do depending on my driving position, reach and how I feel in the car .

Healey Nut. First, that’s the best fitting tunnel carpet I’ve ever seen. I see no puckers or loose bulges. Brilliant. Second, I recommend you change your current gear shift to the later ‘double bend‘ style they used on the last 3500 or so 3000 Mk1. Ive owned my BT7 for 60 years and changed to the double bend style 3 years ago. A completely different and much improved shifting experience. The later style come up on eBay occasionally or you can post a want ad on the forums. That’s how I found mine.

Not awkward at all. Makes shifting from 4 O/D to 3rd a one-hand operation. Put the switch on the top, with "on" forward, and it's just like shifting from 4th to 5th.

Having it on the dash allows a dead pedal for your left foot.

Let there be light , and rally race number roundels .

So Ive got all the electrical stuff reconnected and working only exception is the indicator warning lamp on the dash , it’s lit up all the time even without ignition on so I’m trying to figure out what that issue is . And no it doesn’t flash with the indicators which all work good .
Need to do some more checks and testing , any ideas anyone ?

Things are really beginning to mesh together (I’ll see myself out 😁)
The front edge of the scuttle scoop has a brass edge strip . I’m going to get to some more from somewhere , maybe a stained glass shop as they use it for glass edge .
I will put a piece of it on the edges of the mesh where it sits on the aluminum rally scoop . That will cover the ends of all those sharp stainless wires .

A day of getting all those little jobs done , fixing the boot latch so it closes properly . Trimming fling and shaping that little trim filler piece for the aluminum cockpit surround . Getting kick panels in and secure .Ashtray installed , not that I need it .
Door trim panels mostly done , one quarter panel in .Need to figure out the position of the side screen support plate on the door next .
Haven’t solved my indicator warning light issue yet but I think it’s the flasher relay itself that’s the problem . Will have to try a new one .

Healey Nut, where did you purchase your interior? You have the same arm rest with the rounded corners like I mine. I purchased mine from Sports and Classics but the kit may have been made by someone else. Most of the kits from others I have seen, have arm rests with square corners.

Carpets from Coverdale in the UK , interior panel kit from AH Spares via Autofarm in Canada .
Seat Covers and armrest are the full leather option from AH Spare ordered direct .
