California Duster

I'm new to owning classic cars, have an MGA. I don't keep it in the garage and try to use it as much as possible so it doesn't stay as clean and dry as many would like but bought it to use. My question is about California Dusters and any concern with long term damage to paint. My car isn't mint or anything and the duster really seems to be an easy way to keep it presentable but wondered if there are any concerns long term-- I certainly don't see any damage but haven't used it for long. Figure the normal wear and tear of using the car will result in needing a paint job long before the duster does any damage.

Also thought it might be worth trying to start some discussion on something!

Get it. Use it. Wonderful invention. I use one on all my cars, including my 2000 Corvette (and my 67 Jag). I have many many friends who use the Cal Duster and no complaints so far. Make sure you get a real Cal Duster and not a cheap immitation. If the handle isn't wood it's probably a knock off.
