It looks like it was based on a Land Rover chassis. I bought a new Land Rover in 73 and was surprised that it was basically a 55 mph vehicle, anything over that the engine seemed to be straining. After breaking three rear axles in a period of two years, due to a bad batch of axles, I sold it. I could have bought a Fairey overdrive unit, now taken over by another company, but after the axle issues I just wanted to get rid of it. The vehicle for sale is probably, but not sure, a max 55 mph vehicle, not for the freeways. PJ
