Zip down window - rolled & fastened

I was thinking about what I'd do when the nice weather came around (if ever).
I saw someone else do something like this and I had a couple snap fasteners I hadn't used so I took a vinyl strap about the right length and put the snaps on so I could roll the window and then strap it up out of the way.
Just thought I'd post it in case someone here is wondering what to do with their window.
I've got another strap just like this, my intention was to use both of them but I'm two snaps short.
I have to find someone who sells those things.

Sells snaps? Ace Hardware or a local fabric store.

I tried Ace - no joy.
No WallyWorld near me.
I'll try the True Value across the street.

Don't even worry about the roof.

Got my new top for Bugsy in the mail last night. Looks fabulous with zip out rear window as well. < 2 weeks made and shipped from the UK. Big 6 x 9" speakers in the back and soon speakers in the headrests once I get the Miata Seats installed. Bass Block Caps installed on the headrest speakers to eliminate bass distortion. Bugsy's gonna rock at low speeds and high speeds.

Those Sony Xplode 6x9's really rock the house.
The 6.5" Alpines up front are weak by comparison.

I can "feel the noise" through the back of my seat for sure.

Today it's supposed to reach a record high temp for our area, I'll be unzipping the rear window to drive home.

There are a bunch of Walmarts in the Seattle area, just not within 20 miles of my house.

I'm not going to spend $6 on gas to go there for a $2.99 item.
My True Value had it for $6.50 - so I saved $2.50 buying it locally.

(Total cost to get the $2.50 item at Walmart = at least $9.00 so buying it for $6.50 at True Value saves me at least $2.50 - especially considering that if I did go to Walmart I'd most likely buy a bunch of other crap I really don't need)

Considering that I can walk across the street, burn no gas, spend almost no time, support my local store and drink a beer or two to celebrate the fact... Priceless!

Down here in Johannesburg

I went to the guy who replaced my windows and had 4 made for $10, very much like the RickB photo. The idea is that come the Spridget tour on 28 May I will be driving with the full tonneau so the 4 straps will be used to lift the hood away from the speakers.

Good idea Mark, I hadn't thought of doing that.

I got the idea from Rik actually, if you are the same Rik on that other Spridget forum... Anyway, this works really well and I appreciate your skills. Your interior looks great, you should share some pictures.
