I've been warming the wife up to the idea of having a Triumph Stag one day. The usual questions where asked such as: where are you putting this new one, are you getting rid of anything? and so on.
Last night I showed her a videoclip on YouTube of a Triumph Stag firing up and idling. She actually got goose bumps! That's a good sign and I think the light is going from red to yellow now.
Still keeping my eyes out for one!
Oh oh, sounds like the dreaded Stag disease "gottavoneomore" or in your case, the other mutation of the virus "gottaveoneothemtoo". /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/nopity.gif
Yes, the real Triumph V8 burble is very addicting, not to mention the styling. Just wait until she drives one! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/driving.gif
At VTR 2007 in Valley Forge, 17-20 July, the TSC USA has several members available for an event we call "Ride the Stag". Warning, you will probably need to feed the owner a beer or two after the drive and talk about Stags provided you can get your wife out of the car. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thirsty.gif
Rumor has it that Richard Truett is selling his very low mileage Stag as featured in The Vintage Triumph. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/angel.gif
Actually I have it on good authority he is thinning his herd of Triumphs.
But I would not wait too long, that one will not last very long.
Also, our South East regional director has his Stag for sale.
