Welding floors in a 1500. Who had it done?

You could try Bill Shields of Carriage Craft, in Reading PA. He just did some rust repair for my BMW, but he specializes in LBC's (especially MG's). Also, their labor rate is amazingly cheap compared to the labor rates around Downingtown/West Chester (I see you're from Hatboro, not too far from here). Typical rates run $75-80 here, but Carriage Craft's rate is $38 or so. I think it has to do with the fact that they do restorations, so jobs are guaranteed work (and therefore, they aren't sitting around).

Was looking for a welding work.
The floors are not too bad but since the sides of the footwells need repair along with the sills, what the heck.

I'm not sure that I was entirely clear, but to clarify, they do not do any painting, but do only metal work. However, thus far I have been satisfied with the quality of the work, and even amazed at how well they did without any bondo whatsoever. They leave the bondo to the paint shop, and only prime the patches. On my left rear wheel well, there was considerable rust, and that portion of the fender had to be reconstructed from scratch. Aside from the primer, I couldn't tell it had been done.

I suggest you give Bill a call and ask what it might cost for the work you need. I have no financial interest, but have been pleased in my dealings thus far.
