Tractor Supply Blasting cabinet.

Offline
I picked up a new blasting cabinet from TS yesterday for $89. It looks pretty well built, but before I can use it, I'll have to straighten the front legs.

Looks like they redesigned the hopper and pickup tube since the review video on YouTube. Hopefully it will work well with 80 grit glass beads. It has a 23"x 19" x 13" work area... hopefully I can squeeze a rostyle wheel in there and still have room to blast them, if not, I'm going to get their pressure tank blaster, and hopefully find some cheaper media.

Got the bottom off...

One beer job using just a screwdriver. The nuts were not tight at all. Next job, straighten the bent metal. Each foot is only held on with 3 screws, and they were sandwiched between the bottom plate and the walls. I think I'll add a screw at each corner and mount them directly under the bottom hopper this time. Should at least seal better with the all flat edge.

Looks very similar to one I bought a few years ago. Very handy having your own blasting cabinet - makes short work of cleaning up old parts!

Got it all straight, back together, and the biggest complaint I've read about these things is that the seams leak dust... so I hit all the seams with rubber spray. I might even get to try it out today.

Here's the before and after on the rustiest piece of metal I could find. Works pretty good. I definitely need to hook up a shop vac. I also need to put a slightly thicker seal on the door. It leaks a little back near the hinges. All in all I think it'll serve me well.

The door seal may not leak with the shop vac hooked up. The extra airflow doesn't hurt. I also change out the plastic on the inside of the glass. That helps. I noticed that the medium does disappear into the shop vac and does need be replenished more often than I expected. Its fine because it's mostly dust at that point.

The glass in mine is all plastic, I'll just go get a few cut at lowes when it needs replaced.
