Re fasten brake and clutch tubes to the firewall.

Re fasten brake line tube to belly of Miss Agatha.

Re fasten the three way brass fitting.

Double check for leaks.

Double check for bleeding.

Check that the clutch slave is really moveing.

Clean and make sure all is ready for dash assembly next week.

Go to Home Depot and get paint for back bedroom, opps, how did that get in here.

busy, busy, busy! After all that you should drive Miss A. to the depotfor paint - wish!!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

I'll be changing oil... ALL of it. *sheesh*

...I'd rather paint yer bedroom, Jack! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

I have:

Pick up filing cabinet from Staples, that I ordered last week.

Measure kitchen and choose new floor and paint at Home Depot.

Make a few trips of items with Jeep to the new house.

Wish I was working on one of my LBC's /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

Jerri recently bought all new furniture for our TV room - now she's got me making oak end tables (gonna finish one today) & taking her shopping for oriental rugs.

No garage time for me this weekend.

Finish brakes on GT.
Replace speedo in Midget.
Replace horn brush in Midget.
Replace grille in Midget, with a MKII grille.
Adjust handbrake on Midget.
Buy picture frame for the Midget print I got from Cliff.

Light a fire and wait for the snow.

Ok, I win, all done but for the trip to Home Depot.

Wish I had someone here to help for 30 min to finish off bleeding these brakes.

They need one pump to be just fine, close but no cigar.

Sounds like a full day of "honey-dos" pretty much all the way around...except for a couple of lucky guys who get to play with LBCs! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Lucky?
My fingers are numb from cold and trying to get them up behind the dash for a speedo is horrid!
I did the handbrake, then went to an impromptu LBC club gathering.

It's warming up here (16F) so I might be able to get out the garage tomorrow to clean up the MG and get the shell ready to sell. Today I'm taking it easy, going to a play (On Golden Pond) with my in-laws.

Tomorrow is wide open, so I'm hoping for some quality garage time.

Good work there, Jack. You are married, right? Isn't that what a spouse is for, pumping the pedal while you bleed the brakes? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Had my engineer neighbor over for 15 min, that's all it took to finish off. A bit of air in the long side.

And yep have a wife. She use to do that kind of stuff but she was still in bed. Up watching tennis from down under till all hours last nite.

Jack:

Thanks for reminding me that the Aussie open is on.

Going back to Depot, decided to tile kitchen floor. So I will be putting in a sub floor tonight.

Patrick

BTW, great news on the brakes.

Well, its 4:51pm & the table is finished! Jerri just came out to my workshop & blessed it..she said tomorrow she'll putty the little nail holes, sand it & stain...WHEW!!!

Now, she wants me to build a 2nd smaller one with my left over Oak! DARN!!

But the payoff Tony, it's all in the payoff.

Gosh yes Jeff, newspaper, TV station, CNN and BBC.

Yep guess so cause so many have asked for it, I do have a video camera as well as a digital still one that will take short videos.

End of next week or the following week I should expect.

This is just like waiting for the Team Sprite result, only slower!! hehe. Slow delivery! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
