When you buy gaskets from whom ever, except for pan and head make a copy on your copy machine then you can make your own when you only need one or a few over a weekend.

If it leaks anywhere but the rear non-seal scroll seal it is wrong.

Only the rear oil seal should leak a drip. nothing else on engine or tranny should.

The very first year I had the car, it sat over the winter and the oil leaked out of the transmission???? Is this a common occurrence? The trans. was then sent to a rebuild co in Georgia (Vinco) that gave me a shorter first gear, and less on the top end.

It is not normal for the tranny to leak at all. Just a few gaskets and decent sealing on the front and rear with oil inside minimial. Just shy of a quart.
