Stuck heater control lever

One night it works and the next day it’s just stuck, doesn’t budge, like it’s not even supposed to. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hammer.gif

I had it on warm for the evening and turned it “off” the next morning and that’s where it wants to stay! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cryin.gif

Is it the lever, do you think, or the valve at the engine???

Clarification needed Dar 100. Valve at the engine which is controlled from the cockpit heater control lever is confusing me ?. ---Keoke /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Sorry, it's the cockpit lever, it's pushed all the way towards the left and it won't budge!

I thought may be but was not sure. How about diconnecting it from the valve and see which one is stuck .Probably the valve but a little 3-in- 1 or WD 40 at the contol junctions and valve lever may free it up.??--Keoke

Thanks, that's a good suggestion. I can't get to it until the weekend, I'll report back. How about that chain noise, or hic-cup, any thoughts?
