MGB Rear wheelbearing clicking

I am currently trying to restore the breaks on my MBG from 1975 which has not moved in 25 years. I have just taken apart the rear brake and have ordered new shoes, new spring and more. When I out of curiosity spon the hub I could clearly feel a sort of clicking. I checked the hub on the other side and I could feel the exact same clicking. Is this problematic? Is this just bad bearings?

Every insight is appreciated

I would certainly check the bearings, given how long the car has sat. At the very least clean and repack is easy enough.

these are rear bearings and run in gear lubricant. drain the diff fluid and refill. Bearings usually last for ages as long as fluid is present.
be sure to check after running in for diff seal leaks at the hub.

Another possibility is wear in the differential or possibly a stuck/worn universal joint. I've had the rear seals go out but it normally takes some sort of physical impact or shock to damage the bearing itself, unless as Grantua mentioned they were allowed to run dry.

REALLY oddball case would be if someone had installed some sort of positraction or limited slip in there, which could make it feel different....

After re-reading; an additional question. Is it a continual clicking (like a clock) as the hub turns, or is there just a single click when the hub is first turned? If it is just a single click, that would point me more toward a worn gear in the diff or again, a worn u-joint that moves a bit before taking up the slack and engaging.
