Was a wonderful day here on "show" day... and there were zillions of MGs. :yesnod: Too many B's (just kidding - but there were over 100+ due to it being the 50th anniversary). Lots of A's and a mess of others.

There was a 1935 "PA" (and I have a pic or two if anyone is interested), and here is my friend/neighbor Roger with his 1939 TB (of which only 378 were made prior to the war breaking out); today was also its birthday (Sept. 1, 1939).

Oh, what the heck, here are two shots of the "PA." This thing has a strange fire-wall that has the bonnet sort of 2/3s on the engine and 1/3rd over your feet (which I think you can see in the first photo and why there is light way back in those footwells). There is no transmission tunnel. 1935 and in mint condition.

For some reason there was an MG1100 parked next to it!!! Something about being in an "other" category.

Thanks for the pics -- that's quite the car. Those pre-war MGs were something special.

Then there was THIS thing during the swap-meet today. No description of it and I have NO idea what it is (except an MG). It had newer gauges (looking like Jag dials) in it. The leaf springs were all fully wrapped with some sort of twine.
Anybody know what it is? It was Bugatti-esque, with a pointed rear-end.

Well I know there's a supercharger under that bulbous snoot beside the SU. :smirk:

Pretty sure that's a MG K3. 1933-34. Very rare, very cool.

I thought that SU-looking suction chamber in the front had a small hand-pump next to it, so I figured it was a lubrication system (with tubing to various places - like on a Bentley). Not sure.

After looking it up, yes, I think it's a K3.

Here's another shot a friend took. It turns out to be, indeed, a K-Magnette and it had some modern updates. Yes, that bulbous thing in the front (behind the MG logo) is for a supercharger.
