Jamaican Update March 2007

Pretty much finished up the 1957 Jamaican MGA on the weekend and took my wife out for her first ride - she says it isn't as claustrophobic when you are out driving!

Even sounds rather like a British car, somehow, despite the American power.

Crazy! This car popped into my head, completely out of the blue, just before I came into the CAD Lab and logged on. She's looking as good as ever.

That is a beautiful car! I wonder how many of these Jamaican's are left? Now if I ever make it out to a Vancouver show...

It looks great. No chin spoiler?

Not yet - wanted to keep it clean and simple. I'll try some high speed work once it is broken in and see if she gets light in the front end.

That is really, really nice Bill, looks like a beautiful friggin speed weapon of some kind. No chin spoiler, it wouldn't do those great lines any favors.

Was asked offline for a front pic - here it is. What do you think it most resembles?

240Z??

Hmm, front spoiler and full lakes pipes would really set it off.

Re: Jamaican Update March 2007

resembles a 938 somewhat, or maybe even a chopped AMX!!!
Great lines, it looks a little like a late 70's vette going by at a buck twenty, of course it's standing still.
I'll take it

Lake pipes?

LAKE PIPES??

Puhleeze......

I am trying to avoid the spoiler too, because it would look more 70s than 60s, but I'm wondering how much like a kite this body shape might be at high speeds... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek.gif
