I know what your thinking....oh a spitfire! Sorry to be more like a wedgie on a spit. Now the fun begins. I wondered how it is I went for so long without doing this!

Oh by the way I did not think a coupe was top heavy during the "rotational" movement, ah yeah it is a bit top heavy!

When you finish with that Spit can I modify to work on my TR3? You are pretty close by. You need to Check us out at British on the Green...under local events.

It can be used on anything with a width of 66.3 inches or less. The only thing you will need to do is get some tubing or channel to adapt to the frame/body of the TR3. I have a friend in Belair, MD I am going to possible make one for him. It is not that hard to do. I used two engine stands for $80.00, (3) 4 foot pieces of 2x2x1/8 inch tubing for $45.00, (8) 4 inch casters for $50.00 and 2 peices of channel for $45.00 and welding over a few days off and on.

I also recommend a body cart from Summit Racing that would be perfect for a TR3 body tub of frame to roll around. It was about $320.00.

A good number of the real TR8 coupes are actually accounted for. Some have been sacrificed to keep roadsters going but if they were treated well and kept out of the weather they hold up very well. I use mine as a daily driver and it just turned over 163K miles.
