has anyone got a guess how many 120 FHC's are still accounted for?

David;
John Elmgreen, in Australia, is the
XK@jag-lovers.org "unofficial keeper of all XK 'numbers'", it is his guess that about 10-20% of ALL XK's produced (120/140/150) are still around... somewhere..
A couple of years ago, I started my own list of 120DHC's (both RHD &LHD) and have confirmed the existance of (including a couple of known destruction) 264 of the 1700+ produced in '53-'54.
Because many XK owners are not "on-line", the only "other" option to acquire existance information is if these owners list their XK's with one of the "registrys" like Classic Jaguar Association (CJA), Jaguar Drivers Club (JDC) or "private" registry's from Jag Clubs in various countries, etc.
