Hi Guys,
I hope everything is good with all.The other day ,I had to pull apart the carburators on my 65.The reason I did this is cause I couldn't get the idle down below 900 rpm's.Anyway,I found that the adjusting jets were frozen solid in their bushings.Event though they are brass, they were so gummed up,they wouldn't move.I cleaned the parts with carb cleaner and ordered rebuild kits, but I'd like to make them look better before assembly. Can anyone recommend a way of making the aluminum look alittle brighter and a way of polishing the top vacuum chambers? As always, thanks Gang,
