the body was in very bad shape actaully. once we got into it there where many faulty repairs and the whole inner structor of the car was gone. the inside fender wells where no longer there. the heater tray in the engine bay was gone. the only really solid part of the car was the Trunk and doors. i needed the parts for my Other MG's so it became a doner. with no title it was worthless.

Yeah i doubt i could reassemble on in 11 days let only 11 hours. all though if you supply all new parts and all the old stuff is took we might need to talk /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I once had a midget in the drive less than 24 hours, one of which was cleaning all the rat nest out.

yes rat nest was a big factor in the dismantle. i had to shopvac the drivway out after wards there was so much mess that came out of that thing. i did find 2.35 in Vintage Change.

I know of someone who bought a midget for parts as they were building a Westfield XI. They took the parts off that they thought they needed, scrapped the remainder, then found out 2 days later that a part they needed was still on the car, by which time it had been crushed... Naturally the part the left on turned out to be quite an expensive one to buy new!

yeah i have been there. I took everything off this car before i crushed it. only thing i really crushed was the floors and trunk section. because i cut all 4 fenders off. i even saved the wiring harness.
