Finally, my car is coming home again!

Anybody else here understand the pain of having a car missing from the stable? Even though I've been having plenty of fun with my other cars, I've been desperately waiting three weeks to get my missing child back from the mechanic. I just can't sleep right without all my kids tucked in at night. Anyway, the Mechanic called today and said she'd be ready on Friday! I'm psyched!

I'm sure you know this, but I've always been told to never add up those bills... some things are better left unknown, though not unpaid -- too nice a car for the repo man! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Well, the car isn't home yet, and the bill keeps growing. Somebody really screwed with the fuel injection system, and the mechanic has had to go through it bit by bit and put it back right. His words were, "I've never seen a car so messed around with. Every thing that could possibly be adjusted is mis-adjusted." Last thing he found yesterday was the protection diode for the ECU cold start relay had been removed and replaced with a fuse, which had blown. <sigh> At least with my LBCs I have a chance of fixing them on my own...
