Is there any one out there with a BJ7 with original carpets, a BT7 would also do.
I would like to know if the carpet covering the transmission tunnel is in one piece from the firewall to the rear seats or in two pieces. I once had a 100/6 and the tunnel carpet ( original carpet ) was in 2 pieces, the rear fixed over the 'fixed' tunnel section and the front piece over the gear box cover overlapped onto the rear section slightly and the join was covered by an arm rest. This made getting to the gear box real easy. My BJ7 has a one piece tunnel carpet, possibly made up - not a kit part, and getting to the gear box is difficult. Looking on the web carpet sets are for sale and appear to have flaps to get to the gear box oil filler/dipstick. Are these like the original?
Any help would be appreciated.
