After a number of years, I finally made it to the British car show in Bellevue. My wife entered her Bugeye and got second place. I was hoping to meet some of you who live locally - I put a British Car Forum note on my windshieild, but no luck. Anyone here go to the show?

Couldn't make it this year. Just too busy. I grew up in Bellevue, so I try to make that one. Of course, I'll definitely be at the show in Portland.

Too much going on. I gave up all car shows (and Concours events) this year.

This is the first year that I've missed since my first in 2004. My car is headed to the shop tomorrow for and engine transplant. It'll be ready for Portland, Labor Day weekend.

Hope to see you there, Bill. Thanks again for the PCV; I replaced the rubber membrane and it's working nice.

I couldn't do it this year.
My oldest daughter is getting married at our home in less than a month and I have a lot of work to do on the place before a couple hundred people show up.
My bathroom (originally built around 1925) had a full tilt melt down and I'm "remodeling"...

They always have the All British Meet in Bellevue on the same weekend as the Goodguys in Puyallup. I wish they would spread them out but I don’t think communicate with each other. This is the 2nd year there with the Bugeye and it is amazing the response from the people. You can watch the crowed and see a wife or child that didn’t want to come but dad made them and when they see the Bugeye the frown turns to a smile.
2600 cars and a 3 day party 10 minutes from home is hard to pass up. The car is getting more dependable each year and if I find a 3.9 dif. I will try it next year.

Yeah, I spent the entire day yesterday in the crawlspace replacing the 2x12 floor joists.

Today I hope to replace the rotten corner with good wood and get it leveled up and maybe make some progress with the new wall framing.

Living on borrowed time with the current tarp over the whole thing...

I live right up the hill from Puyallup, in Milton and I wouldn't go to Goodguys if they paid me! Most of the people there stick their noses in the air and are appalled that something other then an American made hot rod is at "their" show. It is much more enjoyable to go to a show with 500 plus BRITISH Cars, and thousands of BRITISH Car enthusiasts and fans!!! It's truly a joy to talk to people who understand your love of British Cars. Here's a few pics from the show....

The license plate was from Arizona. All of the 350 special models built to commemorate the 1 millionth Minor were originally painted Lilac.

Paul's was #1 million and 1 but went to someone in Oregon so it COULD have been his, he had that same "million" banner with it.
If i remember correctly there were 6 "million" cars. (350??)
