Maybe he should have used the words 'Barn Find' in the listing.

It is an uncommon car - that, combined with many buyers looking at the economic side of things (will this restoration cost me several times what it will ever be worth?), make it a challenging candidate for a project.

Hopefully his latest approach (no reserve) will finally find it a new home.

What's not to love?
Whopping 35 hp under the hood (IIRC), top speed under 70 mph and a 0-60 time of about 2 days. We're talking slower than the original VW bug, and less charm to boot.
Many service parts are solid unobtanium; Dad junked his after he couldn't find a replacement idler arm. The parts car that broke in half while being loaded on the trailer didn't exactly inspire confidence either.

Great story. I learned a few things about TR10's that I did not know. I always that if I could ever find a nice TR10 station wagon…….maybe I will move this a bit further down my list of cars to own.

Perhaps I should glean from the responses that nobody is interested in Triumph 10s?

Oh, I think there is plenty of interest - just not much interest in owning and even less in restoring.

I also enjoy seeing a Fiat Jolly or a Mini Moke but would never for a moment consider owning one.

I look on these with the reverse kind of nostalgia. Back in 1965 in England, I owned one of these for about 3 months. It was, by some distance, the worst car I have ever owned. I cannot believe they've got better, only older!

Agree...the TR10 station wagon has a strong likable appeal (to me) that the sedan lacks...

but if I ran into this wagon, I'd be hard pressed not to go after it....like a lot.

So, how do you really feel about these Randall?

I suppose I should weigh in on this topic at some point...and I will...at some point. Meanwhile, consider that the 10 is what started me on my lifelong path to ruin, er, love affair with the Triumph marque. For those who have not yet seen my all-time favorite family photo, taken late in 1958:

I guess you either you like them or you don't. I do. This seems to be a fair deal for the buyer and the seller. Tom

Huge money at $920 ! Since most Ebay auctions end with a non paying bidder..... unless its you Tom !

Nope, the $1500+ to get it across the country left me out of the bidding.
